November 3rd – the day after all the big Día de Muertos festivities. I found myself in San Juan Cosalá preparing for an interview with a local bike shop for an upcoming video. The morning was quiet, and the plaza and main street were still blocked off. It was a perfect chance to get up close and personal with some of the decorations from the festivities.
Join me for a 9 minute peaceful stroll through the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into the displays to honor and invoke the dearly departed.
