You never know what you’re going to discover while driving down the carretera lakeside. From Chapala, to Ajijic, through San Juan Cosala and through to Jocotepec the areas are all vibrant, different and unpredictable.

This particular Sunday morning I happened across a fund raiser sponsored by a local school in Ajijic, the Instituto Terranova. There was colorful chalk dust and families walking through town having a good time and raising money for a good cause.
