Lake Chapala doesn’t experience ocean tides, but Lakeside does have its own ebb and flow.
Throughout the year, visitors, seasonal residents, volunteers, and customers come and go, creating the rhythms that shape life in our community. During the busy months, local restaurants, organizations, charities, social groups, and events are full of energy. During the quieter months, many of those same institutions face challenges maintaining attendance, volunteer support, and visibility.
In my newest Living La Vida Lakeside video, I explore the “real tide” of Lakeside and why supporting the organizations and businesses we value throughout the year helps preserve the rich culture and activities that make this area special.
Watch the video and let me know: What local organization, business, or activity do you make a point of supporting during the off-season?
